Save the Date: The Rowing Together Gala Returns on December 2, 2026

Following the incredible success of our inaugural event, the Rowing Together Gala is returning for its second year on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver.

The inaugural gala brought together Indigenous leaders, community partners, businesses, government representatives, and supporters from across British Columbia for an unforgettable evening of celebration, connection, and purpose. Together, we recognized individuals and organizations whose leadership and commitment are helping improve the lives of urban Indigenous peoples while raising vital support for Indigenous housing initiatives.

This year’s gala will once again celebrate those making a meaningful difference in our communities while reaffirming our shared commitment to reconciliation through action.

For more than 40 years, the BC Indigenous Housing Society (BCIHS) has been dedicated to providing safe, attainable, and culturally appropriate housing for Indigenous individuals and families. Today, BCIHS proudly serves more than 1,000 residents across British Columbia, creating the stable foundation necessary for well-being, cultural connection, and opportunity.

Funds raised through the Rowing Together Gala help advance our vision for the future by supporting the development of more than 3,000 additional homes for Indigenous families, while strengthening essential tenant supports, childcare initiatives, cultural programming, and resident wellness programs.

Whether you joined us last year or will be attending for the first time, we invite you to be part of another inspiring evening of connection, recognition, and community impact.
